General Questions

Is my information all confidential?

At Hope Medical, we prioritize your privacy. All of our services are completely confidential, and your personal health information is protected at every step. You can trust that your privacy will always be respected.

Do I need an appointment, or can I walk in?

We recommend scheduling an appointment to ensure we can accommodate you at your preferred time. Walk-ins are always welcome, but please note that wait times may vary.

How do I make an appointment?

Scheduling an appointment is easy! Simply call our office at (509) 396-7737 or email us at hope@hopemedicalwa.com with your name, phone number and the service you are seeking.

What does it mean to verify my pregnancy?

Verifying your pregnancy involves two key steps: First, we perform a lab-quality pregnancy test to confirm your pregnancy. Then, we use an ultrasound to assess the viability of the pregnancy, including the location of implantation, gestational age, and the presence of fetal heart tones.

What do I need to bring to my appointment?

All you need is a valid ID (drivers license, school ID, or passport). We also encourage bringing a support person if that would make you feel most comfortable!

Specific to services

Will I need to pay for my pregnancy test or ultrasound appointment?

As a non-profit pregnancy clinic, we do not charge for our services. We rely on the generosity of our donors to continue providing care and support.

What should I expect during a pregnancy test appointment?

Your appointment will last about an hour, during which our nurse will conduct a medical-grade urine pregnancy test and assess your overall well-being—mental, emotional, physical, and social. We also provide education and resources to support you moving forward.

How long will my appointment last?

Appointments typically last an hour, depending on the service you are receiving. Please allow extra time for check-in and paperwork if it’s your first visit.

How do I make an ultrasound appointment?

We’d be happy to help you verify your pregnancy. To get started, please schedule a pregnancy test appointment with one of our trained Registered Nurses. They will assist in determining the best time for your ultrasound.

What should I expect at my ultrasound appointment?

Your ultrasound appointment will typically take about an hour. You’re welcome to bring a support person with you. During the appointment, the Nurse Sonographer will review your basic health history and then conduct either an abdominal or transvaginal ultrasound, depending on your gestational age.
