Nurse Consultation

You're Not Alone - We're Here to Help

At Hope Medical of WA, we are here to support you not only during your ultrasound process but throughout your pregnancy journey. Our Nurse Consultation appointments offer a dedicated 30-minute session with one of our Registered Nurses, providing you the opportunity to ask questions and discuss your health in detail. Our nurses are committed to delivering evidence-based care, and if we cannot answer your questions directly, we will work to find the answers or connect you with a trusted provider who can assist.

Topics You Can Discuss During a Nurse Consultation:

  • Nutrition: Guidance on what to eat and avoid, including foods high in mercury and other risks during pregnancy.
  • Vitamins and Supplements: Recommendations for essential vitamins, such as folic acid and iron.
  • Exercise: Safe levels of physical activity during pregnancy.
  • Medications: Information on medications that are safe or should be avoided while pregnant.
  • Vaccinations: Advice on recommended vaccines, like the Tdap vaccine, to protect you and your baby.
  • Health Conditions: Managing conditions such as diabetes, high blood pressure, or depression during pregnancy.
  • Lifestyle: Addressing stress levels, smoking, alcohol consumption, and drug use.
  • Safety: Tips on minimizing exposure to harmful chemicals at home or work and car safety during pregnancy.

We are here to provide you with the care and information you need to make confident, informed decisions for your health and your baby’s well-being.
